When My doctor recommended that I have a hysterectomy I found it very helpful to read other women’s stories. I am going to share mine. For the past 30 years I have struggled with my periods. I cannot honestly say that I remember having a normal period. The irregularities, the constant bleeding, the horrible cramps. I have tried the pill, the patch, the shot and most recently an IUD. They all made it worse. Finally a doctor who understands that this woman has had enough. The doctor has decided on laparoscopically removing my uterus and Fallopian tubes. I am keeping my ovaries. I will share this adventure with whoever wants to follow. Maybe it will helpful for anyone thinking of taking this step. My
